I enjoyed reading this very much. It was reminiscent of the movie Before Sunrise which was also about a chance encounter which leads to romance. You may anticipate critiques which condemn this piece for lack of story, but we both know there is a story and a beautifully stated meaning to the ending. Your writing style is a pleasure to read. I also liked the way you alternated the speaker with each change of date - that was a nice touch.

I'm not sure if "causality" is the right word to use in the January 8 section. Could you have perhaps meant "casualness"?
