I've not seen any of the US remake, but the original British version is quite possibly the best slow-burning political thriller I've ever seen.

Yes it was, I remember it well. I envy you, Lokasenna, because you are in for a treat. As good as the original version was, the U.S. version is one of the finest dramas ever, and now you can just sit back and marathon view four seasons of it, which I highly recommend you do.

I haven't started season 4 but the first three are certainly brilliant, from Frank's grin to his cufflinks with his initials, brilliant.

Been very busy with my thesis but this Easter will be spent watching House of Cards and Daredevil!
