The filigree of detailed memory
faded to barely perceptible whorls
and the faintest semblance of pattern,
themes expunged, thoughts erased,
and all the margins smeared,
through this muslin blind,
crisp and clear,
your face returns my smile
and I am whole

Sigh. A torrent of words and now I'm cleansed.

Incredible poem.

My favorite lines (which is a poem within the poem):
"your face returns my smile
and I am whole"

It is being a part of whole that clasping on a memory
I far away find myself integrated in such resultant autonomy of the piece; margins, pattern and the shadow of the years
