I probably read this 30 years ago, and just looped by today because I was trying to remember the line about, when the beasts had reverted, how their howls would rend the night. The central aspect of the book, what makes us men, are still the defining issues that seperate the Left and the Right in the USA. (Beasts are cunning, but it takes a real man to lie.) And our own Moreaus, precariously hold us back from reverting to our baser nature. Thanks for the web site!<br><br>
