I can't find any mention of them bringing it back, and really hope they don't. That last season was pure perfection. Bringing it back for another series would be as much a travesty as Nahum Tate's 'improved' King Lear, with the happy ending tacked on.

Can't say I disagree with you, Lokasenna, as such sequels inevitably are at least not as good as the original and, in cases where the original resolved nicely, so that additional later material has to be overtly concocted, are usually rather like a case of Montezuma's Revenge. I trust the creators, really I do, but I can't help thinking this is a mistake. It is hard to imagine a more perfect ending than the one it already had, and the article Tyrion linked to seemed to suggest it would only be one more season - I can't imagine them building up enough steam in 13 episodes or so to rival everything that was brought to a conclusion in Felina.

Well don't get your hopes up too much. It has its moments, but by and large I've found it vacuous.

That's a shame to hear. I've purposely held off from watching it until the whole run is finished in the expectation that it will grip me as violently as BB did.

I'm going to revise my previous assessment. This second season, the show has been getting better, and they've had a couple of superb episodes, like last night's was. I've been wondering if it's been a very deliberate slow boil, not intended to seem like much at first, but to develop characters and relationships very gradually--and make pots of money while doing so. Some stupendous acting by the great Michael McKean and Jonathan Banks, as well as Bob Odenkirk. There's also a blonde woman in the show who I've never seen before who's very good. The Jonathan Banks character, Mike, has become so interesting and charismatic I was thinking tonight they need an additional spinoff called Better Call Mike.

Me not remember that particular episode, but I can say that there isn't really a comparison, in terms of intensity and excitement. BB takes the cake. However, BCS is an entirely different kind of show, which I think is what threw me at first. Like anyone, I was expecting some kind of extension of BB, and it isn't. It's a whole different feel and type of storytelling.
