I have been searching fruitlessly for other forums to meet and discuss things not generally covered here, like current events or other interests of mine. Trouble is, it being the internet, they're all populated by loonies and nasty people, or just plain inbred folk with access to a computer. Lit Net is unique in this regard, being an oasis in a sea of 'tards, wherein nice people with brains and education engage in witty banter, free of nastiness. So, does anyone know of any other sites such as I describe?
