Please help me find this poem. I think it's written by a british poet, though I'm not completely sure. The title is Poppies or A Field of Poppies or something similar.
It's NOT the In Flanders Fields or any other WW I poem, nor is it any one of those Poppy-poems I could find on line.
It's quite short, just one stanza, with no narrative - just a violent imagery of blood and wounds. It's very musical with a lot fo alliteration.
Unfortunately I've forgotten the name of the writer.
