During this comment I am going to concentrate on one character that I am writing an essay on which is Bathsheba. I think that during the novel "Far from the madding crowd" Bathsheba learns new things about herself and changes for the better whilst meeting new people (Mostly men). At the start of the book she comes across to me as snobby, stuck up and full of herself but once she is aquainted with Gabriel she seems to me to be more caring and loving. Although this takes a bit of time she does change for the better after seeing some funny things, shocking things and some very serious things during the time of the novel.
