Need your help

Guys, need your help. Which scenario is better?
1.
Common man aged 16 - 17 years finds the ability to become implanted in any strange body. He's rich, rolling around the world. He instills in all sorts of celebrities to get any girl, and so he lived (a little analogy with a book Jumper). So what happens, he falls in love with a young actress (Jennifer Lawrence prototype). He set himself a goal to sleep with her, but with her usual chips are not rolled, and by coincidence, he met with her in person (in his body). Then protagonist attacked by former CIA agent who works for a private person interested in catching such a special guy. Together they run from this agent. Falling in some kinda adventures and so on.
2.
The action of the second scenario takes place in the future where our world was exhausted by war and disasters (corny, but always interesting). After all this, on the ruins of the old world came militarist state (small analogy with Panem from books by Susan Collins). And it so happened that because of all of these disasters in the new world, children are born with special abilities that are manifested in the conscious age. They are called different. Authorities caught them and executed on the village square or where they were found (which is rare). The protagonist finds in himself ability of inplanetion to other bodies, so he's a different (still referred to as mutants). The protagonist conceals these abilities. Due to the rounding up of its open and he was forced to flee into hiding. Then, he saved by people from the resistance and they decide to overthrow the usurped authority.

Help me figure out which scenarion better. Thanks for attention so much!

I lean slightly towards #1 nikita but its really six of one, half dozen of the other.

I wonder if it might help for the people who are reading your post to know the context from which you are asking? that is, why are you asking?

Just these two scenarios stuck in my head, and I can not decide which one to choose to write something worthwhile.

Couldn't the guy simply inplant in his enemies bodies, and make them fall down stairs or something.

All little more complicated. He can not just take and manage other people being in mind. It is something like a temporary relocation of consciousness. And after the session, he feels very strong mental fatigue. Also the distance to the target can not be too large.
So the story is not so silly and simple as it seems at first glance.

Oh, I'd love to write a novel of 8 - 9 copyright pages. But I don't think I can do it myself. You know, I used to write short stories. Some were successful, some not. But when I start to write something big and then look at the written text, it constantly seems terrible, I could write it differently and such kind of things fall into my mind.

I think you're also faced with something similar.

Actually, I don't know whether there is such a word in English. Also we call it "author's sheet". That's like a measure of the publisher. 1 author's sheet = 40 000 characters. Is there something like that in English language?

im not familiar with what youre describing nikita, but then I have no experience in the publishing industry.

maybe someone else will join in who does, and also be able to comment some more on your story ideas.

Maybe, but anyway 1 author's sheet is 40 000 characters so that's like 10 pages in Word with 12 size font. That's about scale of my story. Actually, what are you doing on this forum? Just read stories or find some what to read advices?

boy, ten pages doesn't give a lot of space to tell the story does it? is that single spacing?

is the ten pages something that a publisher reads and then says "hey, I really like this, lets turn it into a whole book?"

I enjoy the games sections, and sometimes i'll join in on a conversation over a particular book or author.

I don't read books on the forum but the sites got a nice collection of open access books that i'll on rare occasions i'll peruse for something in particular.

There're not really 10 pages at all. I meant, that one author's sheet is about 10 pages, and I plan to write 8 or 9 such ones.

So yeah, I don't think too that publisher will even read manuscript with ten pages. We have some rule to sending manuscripts. It should be not less than 7 such pages. It's a commercial move. Then they will say something to remove, something to add. And in the end with a printed font, which is bigger than that in the Word, and the format of the book, the pages will turn from 70 into 280 - 300 in the printed version.

Yeah, I have to admit that the sites got pretty good collection of books.
