I liked the idea that life is always "still". I didn't expect that that.

Be still oh quaking heart!
Hurrying will bring nothing faster.
Truly life is a skill that’s plods
Along at an even pace no faster
Even when you would have it run,
Or stand still for a minute or a year.
Each moment is sitting, waiting to be
Lived, then called upon for review.
Each joy and pleasure, each pain,
They are all waiting to be called to action.
Whenever I think of you.
