Whose Hell and whose Paradise? I(n my belief system there is not Hell, but Hades exists, as it was described by Virgil and others in ancient times. Hell was a takeoff from the concept of Tartarus, which is one little corner of Hades. And which Paradise? The real one, where Sky Father lives, when he isn't wandering around, is the best.

Jews explicitly reject the concept of "hell". Jains believe that there are 7 "hells".

Paradise, because it is related with Divine love.
(Hell is temporary place like hospital.)

I like your view of hell as a hospital. It is not eternal and it has a purpose besides punishment.
