I have had to read Far From the madding crowd in my english class, and i have found it really boring. Hardy takes ages to get to the point hes trying to make, and adds very uneccessary chapters making the novel excessively long. Apart from that, the plot is really quiet good, in a typical Bollywood sort of way. I could have enjoyed it much more is the language was simpler and straight to the point.
