Returning member after a long absence

Just saying "Hi" after being away. I was just wondering if anyone is interested in the Diana Gabaldon series "Outlander". She is an outstanding writer even if her genre is not one of your liking.

I read and enjoyed the first three books years ago, when I thought it was a trilogy (those three did stand alone pretty well anyway). Now that she seems to be doing a Wheel of Time with it, I'm holding off on reading any more until the series ends and I can see if people thought it was worth it.
