Like Romeo to a Juliette,
to be a Rama to Sita..

Was it her fetching face.?
her catching voice.?

You said you wanted a kindred spirit.
to haul you in altruism,
and to hold you in benevolence.

Was it a simple glance,
a notion,
or a chemical
flashing through the nerves.
Tell me I don't know.
What love is I'll never know.

Like Sita & Rama
dare you say.
Rama doubted her
did not he.?
made her walk on fire.
so she did..
Was it love.?
tenderness.? endearment.?
Tell me I don't know..
What love is I'll never know.

Like Romeo,
would you die for her.?
he was insular and blind
so is she.
Was it real love.?
Intimacy.? infatuation.?
Tell me I don't know,
What love is I'll never know.....

It is nice to see Rama and Sita in the same poem with Romeo and Juliette. Sita's situation seemed puzzling to me also. Maybe it was just a plot technique to keep two people apart.

Even though Rama,Sita & Romeo,Juliette are great literary masterpieces , they feel like absolutely ridiculous as love stories to me. :) (no offence)
