Hi all. Not really sure where to start as this is not my typical approach to creativity. I don't read, I have never written neither. The only reason I am starting now is because I have had the same idea in my head for the past decade, and I need to free up some space by jotting in down. Creativity helps me to, lets just say it keeps demons at bay. My kind of production is usually in the form of music. I have a timeline, a couple of characters drawn, worlds built etc. Personalities, a little bit of scripting and everything in between. I am also attempting to write a new language into my story for one of the races. The one thing I don't have, is a title.

The storyline is huge. I mean, it may as well be infinite, really. The entire story contains 20+ races, 7 worlds, and I assume would come under the Sci-Fi genre. It dabbles with a little bit of conspiracy also, purely because I wanted to. I'm not particularly interested in writing it for anyone else, but I figured making a good go of it may allow others to explore my mind and try to relate to what I had bouncing around in that void we call a brain for a considerable number of years.

To assist me with the writing I have been writing a soundtrack to accompany it. I am far better at translating emotion to audio than I will ever be for visual representation, so it really has helped me to jump into the story a little easier and really try to bring that emotion that is inside, out.

Anyway, without giving too much away I figured I would share the outline with you. I hope you can get some sort of idea with it. I really do need a helping hand so anyone willing to share some tips and give me some advice it would really be appreciated!

Planets were built experimentally by a rebel cult of creationists belonging to a superior race known as the Sators. Sators would visit worlds, enslaving those it saw fit to survive among them and wiping out any and all that were not worthy enough to have the benefit of a life. The Sators regarded themselves as the most superior beings to ever roam the stars. Few planets they visited throughout their years were granted the privilege of becoming a Sator slave, many more were lost. Their arrogance was also their downfall, they were slow to act, instead spending most of their free time living a life of splendour. The CULTE Sators built replacement planets in defiance to the High Sators, attempting to perfect a race that could one day rival the High Sators. Each world that was built had been granted a gift. The 5 planets we encounter throughout our story possess the gifts of Curiosity, Will, Faith, Creativity, and Foresight. Each planet was the same age, minus the production time. All 5 planets were the same race, they just had different gifts.

Our journey begins on Laika, where a previous war had shattered the planet and disrupted its cycle. The environments changed to two extremes as the planet lost it's rotation, creating 2 very harsh environments with a thin strip of preserved nature in the middle. Laika had the gift of Will, and with it they began to evolve rapidly in order to survive the conditions of their new home world. As we journey further into the story we encounter the Humans (curiosity), the Ursans (Creativity), the Kaens (Faith), and Tesni (Foresight).

I have to go, I will repost later tonight with further details.

Over the course of the initial parts of the story it is more focused on the issues on Laika, with tensions running high and it's 2nd civil war imminnent. The Laikans have never been a race to attack, but they have stood against the mightiest of foes that sought to eradicate them. We look to our main character, Inarchius, to liberate Laika and return it to its formaer glory. A prophecy given to Inarchius' father, Brok'thus is misinterpreted and instead adds further tension to the people of Laika. Their leader Izo'rak breaks tradition, and orders an attack on earth, which ends in the execution of Brok'thus.

Further down the line we encounter the further CULTE Sators creations. The Tesni are nowhere to be found though. Their entire planet, desolate of any intelligent life.

The story ends with a war against the High Sators & the races they have enslaved, with plenty of twists along the way.

It looks like it's been given away in this passage, but believe me it only gets weirder and more unpredictable.

I just perused your post Gregory and then kinda jumped to the end to look for a bit more specificity as to what kind of help you are looking for?
