Franklin why the diversion to Paris, I thought we were headed to Chartres?
I figured the City of Light could use a little of our charm at this time Ben, besides, there’s a Gustave Caillebotte exhibit showing at the Musée d'Orsay. It has been a lifelong dream to see Caillebotte’s “Paris Street; Rainy Day”.
Flip the snood out of your eyes Ben, we’re on a Paris street and it is raining, why do you need to see a painting of it?
For god’s sake Franklin, please retract your tail feathers, you’re embarrassing me, and be more discreet with that bottle of gobble juice. Do you honestly think you have the slightest chance with those birds across the street?
Here, let me have a snort of that bourbon and let’s pick up the pace, there’s a painting I want to see.

Franklin, let’s raise our bottle to Paris…may Notre Dame’s buttresses forever fly.

Same to you, trusting you're enjoying the occasion and thanks for taking a look.
Actually, I was able to see the real McCoy when visiting the Art Institute up your way a few years ago.
The Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth is currently exhibiting works by Caillebotte, including "Paris Street; Rainy Day"... http://caillebotte.kimbellart.org/
Perhaps this weekend, I'll make a run out there.
