See my post about "Nights at the Circus" by Angela Carter - she is quite a famous contemporary British author. And, "Nights at the Circus" is undoubtedly about women :D Or do you need specifically a poem? Sorry, I have no business in poetry ...

Except for your W.W.J.D., I have no idea what you're doing in the Bible forum, HotDog. But since your here, try Song of Soloman in the Bible. Otherwise you might have better luck in the poetry forum. ;)
