I thought The Red Badge of Courage was interesting. At the beginning it seemed kind of dry, but as I read on I realized that Henry's struggle with running from the battle is like one's everyday life. We all have doubt about something and we aren't sure how to overcome it. At the end of the book when Henry realizes that what he has done in the past is over with and that he can move on with his life, it made me think about my own mistakes, and how they are over with. The main theme I got out of this story is if you forgive yourself for your sin/problems you can have a new dawn of hope and prosperity. KDBlom
