Does anyone know the phrase "to walk into infinity?" What does it mean?

Not one I've come across, either.

I searched the phrase that you put in quotes and found it in this book:

What You Think of Me is Your Destiny: A Collection of Short Stories
By Bernard Harold Curgenven

The book itself looks a bit weird. I haven't read it

There's the one about an infinite number of mathematicians who walk into a bar, but it is probably not what you are looking for: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jokes/comments/1423a4/an_infinite_number_of_mathematicians_walk_into_a/

When someone talks about walking into infinity, not that I hear that phrase that often, I assume they are dying or leaving their bodies or dematerializing.

I did read a book a year ago titled "Walking Through Walls" by Lee Jampolsky. Here the walls were mental barriers not "real" walls. I think Emerson said that every wall is a door.

The short answer is I don't know what the phrase means.
