I hope she shows up. Some people do vanish. If this was your daughter I can appreciate how hard the pain must be.

Nicole was a dear friend. She was of the Netherlands, and suffered long from cancer. In our last correspondence, she was attempting a last ditch experimental treatment, that was apparently not successful. Nicole was a truly fine person. It has been a year since I have heard from her, and, I can only think that she has left this life.
