The flooded sky chose me for the rain
Let it pour its veins for death,
Its flesh for my dress,
But angels don’t die of happiness
The curse of heaven is dead,
So is the lady in bed.
Her world is still, speechless
But angels tend to die of happiness.

Angels in Bed

The flooded sky chose me for the rain
Let it pour its veins for death,
Its flesh for my dress,
But angels don’t die of happiness
The curse of heaven is dead,
So is the lady in bed.
Her world is still, speechless
But angels tend to die of happiness.

Interesting offering; especially L1-L3.

I need your help in resolving L4 and L8. For me they are contradictory with no resolution in the poem to support the fact.

All the best.
