Scene I

I have forged my name in a old oak tree
From many years ago,
And left the other name blank
With the hope it will be fulfilled.

And I gazed deep into the sky,
Felt its love,
Right where I died
Into the heart of my dreams.

And there I saw you
Trace a picture of you and me,
A secret that neither of us knew
Yill we met.

Scene II

Cold hearted orb that goes through the night
Gathers dust from moss into the light.
So the eyes can see the scar it left
When the silence took hold in the sobering moment.

But we are lovers my dear,
Run with me into the wind,
Before the time catches us
And throws us to the ground.

For I am hunched my dear,
But my eyes for you grow gentle,
As the sun slithers into the grey
Where I await the cruelness.

For is love of sight?
Or does it gather from behind.
Which one my dear?

I gather a little of both.

Scene III

So take one my lass
And make it your very urn
That you may light at mass,
That it may carry your every turn.

For I am a man in love with you;
I don't need a God to tell me what's true.
I go as the wind pleases to the meadow
And there thy images I always knew.

Go and leave me in this pain,
Do not feel obliged by my plight.
For to love you was my only gain,
Anything more wouldn't be right.

For I am the bell ringer of Notre Dame,
The bastard on the hill
Who they mock and burn in their hearts,
Yet all I do Is think of you.

With the gentleness of a feather to rest
And the sternness of a man stricken in fear.
For love is lonely to me
Its only truth is foreign.

For I am the head minister of Notre Dame
And even their God tells them I is to fear.

Scene IV

So I clamor for the corner where I shall sleep
With the shadows and the birds of night,
That are silent without a wing,
Like me apathetic to my plight.
