Hi don't know if you know but it's been in the news lately that a proposed block of flats are to be built in St.Ives Cornwall the setting for Virginia Woolf's book To The lighthouse , hundreds of people visit the spot every year , it's where Virginia spent her holidays at Talland house, thanks to a number of objections the final decision has been put back. Pic these flats are built the view which has attracted visitors will be lost forever, it may seem a silly objectiion to some but us Woolfians are determined to stop it going ahead , this is an important part of the history of one of Britains greatest ever writers please help our cause
