Hey there, as you can see I am in need of tips to improve my writing. I am a 14 year old kid who's recently got into reading! One day I want to write my own book and I was thinking about making my ideas into short stories and seeing which idea people would like to see! But to do this I want to improve my writing
and learn from other people so when the time does come when I write my own book I will have enough knowledge to make it the best work i could possibly do!

Thanks for reading this and if you do have any tips please tell me and thank you for your support :)

A short story would be a good start. You might also like to consider keeping a diary to write a bit every day.

If you want to improve your writing and you've only recently gotten into reading, read a lot with an eye on how the pros do it. In your English classes, pay strong attention to grammar and spelling as well as the basic foundations of writing.

Elmore Leonard's 10 rules, while more strong suggestions according to his own style and preferences, are also a good place to start:
