I must examin everything within
Discover law, derision for my sin
The void of thought is heavy with intent
The truth of nature without precident.
I blow my reason at the waking moon
I storm the temple and enjoy the boon
For regulation sake I pour my mind
Into the book of life after its kind.
The reason for the world is bent on fame
Yet I divorce ambition from my name
The poor authority of God above
Is everything which sacrifices love.
Discover law, derision for my sin
The void of thought is heavy with intent
The truth of nature without precident.
I blow my reason at the waking moon
I storm the temple and enjoy the boon
For regulation sake I pour my mind
Into the book of life after its kind.
The reason for the world is bent on fame
Yet I divorce ambition from my name
The poor authority of God above
Is everything which sacrifices love.
