The greeks believe in Fate (a force that trascends mortals and gods), that was indepent of the sins or fault of each characters...? But in the Modern times that notion changes and the tragedy is caused by their owns faults? The "fate" is the result of each characters in their interactions with each others?

l see fate as a predisposition, not a deterministic force nor something impersonal. However,I don't know what the Greeks meant by it.

The Greeks did believe in fate but I'm not sure where you got the idea that they thought it was independent of the actions of an individual. That sounds more like my Calvinistic position. When you say Modern times what do you mean? How modern is modern? When you mention the Greeks I guess you mean the Ancient Greeks.
