For the american writers : Bret Easton Eliis, John Kennedy Toole, J.D Salinger, Stephen King, Philip Roth...
For the french writers : Michel Houellebecq, Emile Zola, Guy de Maupassant, Boris Vian
For the UK writers : Oscar Wilde, David Lodge

Hello Stephane and welcome to the site. I just read Less Than Zero for the first time since the 80s. It was even more disturbing than I remembered, or maybe I'm just losing my edge. I do remember that sort of nihilistic narcissism from those days, though, and all those brainless jaded parties. Anyway, welcome to the site and make yourself at home. :)
