The groundscape
is a landscape
not a chance to test fire,
or to quench our desire,
but to let it grow higher,
until it reaches the skies,
the histories of the wise;
the hidden test of them,
and the definitive rhythm-
it is a chance to let it go,
just to dance for the sky,

when I leave today,
let me pass away;
I have lived and so glad
to have all the days I had,
under sunshine, moon and rain,
sometimes laughing, and new;
sometimes old, young or plain,
and sometimes false, or true.

I owe my existence
to the Christians,
the Muslims,
and Hindus,
and Saints,
and the orthopedic surgeons,
and the quaints. . .

to every little form in existence,
no matter how great or how small:
you make me;
and indebted to you,
I will try to see
you as beautiful as you are.
