After this one i will not post any more short stories for a while, and if for some reason i felt inclined to post another one shortly henceforth - i will post it here because i don't want to monopolize the main page with my material.
A single silent tear ran down his flushing face as he closed his eyes lightly, looking down.
He had not since he was young wept in front of another person.
She took the back of his head and pulled him towards her petite torso with her petite hands.
She stroked the back of his head and told him she was there for him always, she was there for him in this time of his defeat; a time where a man reveals his concealed nature, the armor that sometimes in life collapses in the face of utter annihilation of hope or joy or future – when the pillars of composure crumble.
She was there in his urgency of contact, the warmth of a female closeness; the only instance a man can allow himself to show weakness if ever it would come to that.
A terminal cancer that soon would cease his presence on earthly domain.
