Tao Lin

Has anyone here read anything by Tao Lin? I just read this poem

and a few others on that site. If they aren't pointless they are very interesting. What does litnet have to say?

I dislike his poems and I haven't read any of his novels yet, though I think I might at some point, a friend of mine swears by them. I post on 4chan/lit sometimes and Tao Lin used to viral all of his own stuff there and he had a pretty big following, though it seems to have dried up with everyone trying to 'out Greek' one another by reading the classics.

That makes perfect sense, Tao Lin posting on 4chan. I've never visited 4chan/lit before though, it just seemed like a bizarre contradiction in terms.

Yeh he's well known for advertising his stuff anonymously all over the place. You might be Tao Lin, Lykren!
