I'm a musician. Art is crazy, cool; so here I am. I like the weirder parts of music, and have been looking into things like expressionism and impressionism and aleatoric music when Claude Debussy inspired me to look at other arts. Upon looking into literature I was shocked at how shallow it seemed. Everything seemed so undeveloped until it occurred to me that I had no idea how literature worked. I should clarify that in this mood, my opinion of a work of art is based almost entirely on its innovation and difference from other works in its field. The craziest thing I found was the wikipedia page for experimental literature, which looked cool, but I didn't understand. I aspire to somehow write aleatoric literature, but I barely know where to begin. I came here with intent to ask for input, but a glance at the threads of this forum leaves me lost as to where to ask about this. Being Canadian, I thank you in advance for any input despite the fact that I'll probably thank you afterward as well.
