Which languages did Thomas de Quincey know?

English obviously. He mentions in Confessions of an English Opium Eater that he knew Greek and had a good classical education, so one assumes that he'd know Latin to complement his Greek. It's been a while since I read any de Quincey, but there might be a few lines of French in his work.
