There's a dead man singing on the radio
He died whilst live on his tv show.
Just last week.
Before that f uck awful stye
Sucked the blood into your eye
Ball.
Fall came after your pride
That swept in like a cadaver scum
Tide.
That washed over forget me not rocks
When I left you high and
Dry.
Bye.
Tell Jimmy I love him
After his cornflakes every
Day.
May your cold sore
Not bother you any more
I'll no longer risk herpes
Struggling with your bra and kissing
You desperately on the greasy
Kitchen floor.
I don't know if you are crying
When nobody can hear you weep.
In a weak moment still to
Day
I would dance with you
By the over frozen fridge
In a twilight bleeding through dusty blinds
Beneath Bluebottle flies romancing
A living bulb
With a circular dance.
I would dance with you my
Love
To the dead man singing on the radio
Who died whilst live on his tv show.
Let's dance whilst we still can
Can Can.

I actually have no idea if you like it or are being ironic Nickolail. But thank you either way

Sincerely enjoyed it - it did take me some time to understand your style; but once I did, I was able to appreciate it, and I do genuinely enjoy this poem a great deal. You tell a lot with a few words, and that's pretty much always the goal of the art.

Forgive me for not being more specific - I know that's customary but that's almost a reason for me not to be, :)

Quite a few interesting elements JB, as usual put in your distinct and inimitable order. Well done! :)

I'm going to have to read this one a couple more times to get everything I can out of it. I can tell you now that the parts I did manage to "get" are remarkable. For instance, I liked the novel way you referred to the old "Does a tree falling in a deserted forest make any noise?" conundrum:

I don't know if you are crying
When nobody can hear you weep.

I also like the pun in the closing lines.

Keep postin'.

Is there an end to the dance at all?... Tough, dancing a poem, your signature. Thank you Jerry
