ive read macbeth, romeo and juliet, a midsummer nights dream and twelfth night and i think along with romeo and juliet it was my favorite. im doing literature for my o levels and weve got twelfth night in our syllubus and by far its my favorite. its described as a romantic comedy and not in the meaning of the phrase i mean the subplot of the play is so not funny. what happenes to malvolio is quite sad.
all three women in the play are strong and know what they want which is very different to the women at that time. shakespear in all his plays shows strong and unconventional women who are dependant and very witty.
