So watcha gonna do? How do you intend to be better off at the end of the year than at the start?

More sleep and food, but that's really a permanent resolution for me, not a new year's exactly.

Start cycling as I now know beyond any doubt that I am not a runner... Never have been - strong aversion since my teenage days when I felt very self-conscious - but over the years I enjoyed pretending that I might run.

Also, now that studying's done, post more often on the Forum rathet than just lurking.

Aaaand, continue with the research, finish my article and find some place with low enough standards to publish it.

(Hoping no one will revive this thread at the end of 2015)

I think if I can just stay alert, I can find more money this year than I did last year. (Money that I lost myself doesn't count.)

That's a good monetary policy, Ecurb. :-) I share much the same view.

I think I've only made NYR once or twice in my life. . . since then, it's never made much sense to me. I've made many changes when it seemed right and good to do so, but it's never been based on any date on the calender, rather to do with life.

Be more accepting and open to change, especially situations that are in my control so I can take the road less travelled!

... so I can take the road less travelled!Sometimes roads are less-travelled for good reasons...

Oh alright, I resolve to opt out of 99cent bakery item at the Panera drive-through.
Also I resolve to eat more kale.

Why kale especially?

It's thought of as a super-food.

I want to get better at writing and playing music and speaking Japanese but that's permanent, like Clopin's.

I am a bit OCD so my dinner menu has been a set of 8 dishes that rotate so my plan is to try new things, witch is quite a challenge with OCD since I can't really handle changes very well and I only try new things when it comes to a new brand of tea.

I also want to read more with my son, I used to read for him every night but now he reads on his own so I stopped doing it as much as I did, and I miss it so I am going to put it in our evening routine.

Peace be on all.
Will try to self check last year for better this year.

Yep, like Nik' said, kale has been recently touted as a superfood. It has super vitamins and super minerals, and it's super good for you. If you eat it, it'll make you smart and good-looking and you'll be super healthy...and rich.

Okay, so, I'm going to revise my New Year's resolution:

I resolve to not eat any kale this year. And I further resolve to eat more French Fries (chips to you, Scher)
