Scenario that was never brought to life--

Dead as a Sparrow

A father (Eng. Lit. Prof.) has a birthday party for his daughter, 5. Two friends are invited, one 4, one three. He gives out prizes during their games, neon glow sticks. He warns not to put them in your mouth, cause if ya do, you’ll be dead as a sparrow. After they’re done they go outside to play.
While the adults are talking, the smallest girl outside put one into her mouth. She play acts as if she’s strangling and pretends to pass out. The other two play along and decide to have a mock funeral.

The break off the legs of a play table, and use it as a bier to carry the body and decorate it with flowers they pick nearby. Then the two oldest girls carry the body to the sandbox.
Looking outside the dad becomes alarmed and goes out. Why the broken table without legs.

Cause you said they did it for Nostromo. In describing the girls, use descriptive phrases Conrad uses for the women of Nostromo but for her (the youngest) use Nostromo passages alone.

Have the lit.professor deliver an eulogy at the end describing Nostromo and have the burial at sunset. The father comes out to give them sweaters, that’s how he finds out.

P. S. be sure to use line "Don't make me fetch you."
