Orwell points out in 1984 that the roles of men and woman have switched in some aspects. Orwells prediction takes place in todays society then in the actual year 1984. In todays society you"ll often see men preforming roles that normally of a woman such as doing the laundry or cooking. But this also takes place with the women, today women are preforming act such as building or maintaining a stable job to provide for a family. So as shown Orwell was spot on with his predictions on the change of roles in modern society.
