earwigs vs cockroaches

in the creepy crawly world
when there are
earwigs
poking about
in my kitchen
no roaches
anywhere

but the opposite
is true
in the converse
and as time passes
roaches rule
the pantry
ousting the wigs
until

their turn comes
around again
to take control
to ascend
to the top
of the food chain

Dunno much about earwigs but being quite familiar with roaches, having made acquaintance with quite a few over the years and not precisely voluntarily :rolleyes: I always tell people that roaches gonna roach, but people hardly ever listen to whatever I have to say :rolleyes: Anyway, I understand your feelings upon the matter in hand. Comeuppance upon them is due, albeit insecticides are likely to bring about more damage to us than to them and castigation under the sole appears a less intoxicating solution that nonetheless calls for a higher degree of foot aptitude.
