Memoriam

Walking among the tombstones,
memories with the whiff of decay,
strange comfort in old bones
walking among the tombstones,
in a world you could never stay
and there are too many unknowns,
memories with the whiff of decay.

This is a nicely structure poem. I bet someone who is grieving would get pleasure out of reading this. There is a feeling of moving on and being in a good place to let go, "Memories with the whiff of decay." I want to interpret the meaning of the whiff of decay, but I thought better to just leave it alone.
