Socially I知 a little awkward. Sometimes I知 really outgoing and other times very shy. First, I never did learn to dance because I知 gutless when it comes to that. While I'm fine at speaking in front of a group or class, at parties I don't really put myself forward. Still, I found a way to get around. Back in college I enjoyed dating a lot of different girls. Well, not a lot. But for me it was a lot more than high school and since I got married pretty young it seems like this really quick time in my life where I got to know the minds of other women in a more romantic way. It was over in a flash, and I wish I could have stretched that time out a little longer.

We had a group of us, like the tv show Friends that hung out and did everything together in college. Bowling, parks, sports etc. With that group I wasn't shy, it felt like a big family. My wife was dating my roommate at the time. My roommate was funny. He wanted to be a pastor and he took his studies far more serious than I did. He did eventually become a pastor and lives in Vermont now. The unique thing I remember about him was that Adrian Cronauer was his Uncle. Remember when Robbin Williams played "Good Morning Vietnam" and played his character? Anyway, he was dating my future wife and I was playing the field as much as I could. I remember when my roommate first pointed her out to me. I said, "Damn Mark! You got a looker didn't you". He was always about getting the girlfriends that were a lot prettier than he was. In time they broke up, because but not in a bad way and they were still friends in our group. For a while that kept rolling, but then I started taking an interest in my future wife and now his ex-girlfriend. But I move slow, so she started dating another guy a little. He was a real good looking guy and a nice guy, I just never thought he was very smart. Maybe he was a genius when talking with girls, I don't know. Anyway, while she was dating him I stepped in and flat out stole her. Don't worry, he recovered. We kept a pretty clean dating relationship. You'd think were where living in Leave it to Beaver times. But, things did eventually get physical (I'm skipping a huge chunk out of this story here) and I found myself a 23 year old father. My world changed and all my focus was just to keep the lights on.

That daughter is now close to turning 23 herself. She's very pretty but not dating. All I can say is that she is very particular. She has the sharpest wit though. She works with all guys and they just rip on each other. Nothing is sacred and they are the opposite of politically correct. But in some sick way that makes them a closer group.

I wonder how you "stole" her from the other guy.
