Hi.. If you have to put Beowulf, Creon, David from the Hebrews, Rama and Sita in one of Dante's circle in Inferno, what would these be?:shocked::eek6:
Also, if you could give any other character from the Ancient World and Medieval that would fit really well in one of the circles just go ahead... I want to know some ideas :goof:

Beowulf was really more of a virtuous Pagan in Dante's conception, so ... limbo? Really it would seem he would go to Mt. Purgatory to me.

I was thinking that since Beowulf was a warrior he would be in Circle 7 where the Violence is but it is quite contradictory since he killed for a good cause ..:eek6::eek6:

Not all warriors ended up on that circle. A pagan like Beowulf was never baptized so he'd likely be in limbo with Saladin.
