it does say that beatrice is antonio's daughter. Its says it in the first couple of lines. Read more carefully<br>

No.. YOU are the idiot. Try reading the play... there is no mention of it. Besides in the end when Claudio is made to think he is marrying Antonio's daughter it is clear that it is not Beatrice.

I find this summary very accurate and a good overall view of the plays action. However, i do have one comment to make: it states nowhere in the play that Beatrice is Antonios daughter, only that she is the niece of Leonato. <br> In the play Leonato says "I am sorry for her, as I have just cause, being her uncle and her guardian." If Antonio was indeed her father Leonato would be mistaken in saying this so therefore I must conlude that Antonio is not Beatrices father.<br> Apart from this one grievance I have to say that your work is very helpful as a guide to the text.
