The above production photo is from 2001: A Space Odyssey (1966), a space stewardess is seen elegantly using a portable computer. In the film she’s stationed at Clavius Base which served as a Research Center when the first evidence of extraterrestrial life was discovered on the Moon.

"Like I said, my name is Jordan Castlerock. I am a time traveller, more specifically a socio-time engineer. I've been sent from what you would call "the future" to infiltrate mass media with the sole objective to plant technological, more precisely, ideological seeds in popular culture that will germinate into full blown material "realities".

"get him the hell out of here before I bash his damn brains in" Captain Bulgosi looks away in disgust as Jordan is grabbed by two officers and taken away.

Door slams behind them. Bulgosi stares at the swirling black nothing in his coffee mug. Like an eruption of molten lava he shoots up from his chair and violently throws the cup smashing it against a mirror on the wall.

"we got ourselves another one" he stares at his reflection. The people staring back from the other side are not impressed.

Interesting picture.

Might I make some observations on the narrative though:

• “Like I said, my name is Jordan Castlerock.” But you have not said; in fact you have only just started your first sentence.
• Let your juices flow a bit and come up with a name with a bit more character e.g. See the recent short story by Igor Frodrick about an individual called “ Ichabod Van Helsing.” Now, his parents really did have an imagination.
• “I've been sent from what you would call "the future" to infiltrate mass media with the sole objective to plant technological, more precisely, ideological seeds in popular culture that will germinate into full blown material "realities". Did you have perhaps CNN or even News International in mind?
• “get him the hell out of here before I bash his damn brains in" You have gone straight from an introduction into this scenario, and a capital “G” would not go amiss.
