I liked the idea of love being pearls that light one's way and that it comes unexpectedly.

The first and third lines were in iambic tetrameter and I sort of expected that pattern to follow. I think this would be better if it were more metrical, but that is just the sound of the words. There are four accents per line. The ideas are still nicely presented.
