reality drives
life matter
to realise
that time
to a speckle
is a line
uniterrprupted
but prime
sequences of sound
pattern to interfer
and happen

but to us
it is a mind
to challenge it bounds
intellectual ground
whoever and whiever rides it
full on prides
excellence
a crown
but
eternity frowns
would it ever
down?

Aye, the universe is supposed to be a
Continuum without a hole or gap.
Time continues uninterrupted not
Discrete moments but a sliding mud mass.
So they say, and so I believed until
There was a jump, a sudden jolt, and then
We were on a new track. changed but the same.

Eternity still lies ahead. Behind
Past creaks along, like a faithful, old dog.
The present is still now and takes seconds
To pass, and we still abide in the now.
There are fits and starts when we hit a gap
Or holes, or maybe they are just potholes.
Maybe some of the smooth paving came loose.
Maybe they are just rough spots in our lives.
