He clasps the crag with crooked hands
close to the sun in lonely lands
ringed with the azure world he stands
the wrinkled sea beneath him crawls
he watches from his mountain walls
and like a thunderbolt he falls

As already answered: Tennyson.

Just want to add that it's been widely anthologized in school books. I read it in 9th grade and found it easily "memorable" due to the heavy tetrameter, assonance, and rhyme.

The "wrinkled sea" image is about the only thing in this poem that I still find praiseworthy.
