For all I know
my heart will be retweeted
and I'll be the age of my Mother
without stopping for even a second.

Sometimes things go viral without us knowing.

For all I know
disrobing this late in the day
means I'll go from a baby to a future me
without promise or snapshots

Fearing possibilities in a pink dressing gown.

For all I know
the phone numbers I have
are part of the old me
and it's no good demanding to know what I need.

I thought those closest to me knew that.

For all I know
listening to birds
gazing across Bibra Lake
and sauntering through bookstores

is a much better idea than solving other peoples problems.

For all I know
solid spines, pliable spines
are a sure thing.
but I still miss the bus on new editions.

Many face a lone walk to recovery.

For all I know
stuff is either meaningful or meaningless
depending on which side of the road
you're standing on.

Even if you do get hit crossing from side to side.

For all I know
There is still fresh cut grass
bacon and eggs to savour
and bookstores to rummage through.
