How's it going, old Dude!
Ancient and craggy;
Couldn't've guessed how
Chipped and pitted
Buckled and twisted
You'd actually be;
Look like you've been
Through the wars;
And time has sculpted
You into a chunky,
Knobbly battle-scarred
Ice warrior;
Cruising around the Sun
Cold and alone
For how many yonks?
Untold aeons
Number the lightyears
And it's far from over yet
You oversized nugget,
Picking up stray shrapnel
From meteor strikes,
So many little craters!

Cool!

MM, you're like that "...knobbly battle-scarred ice warrior" cycling back around.
Nice to see you around again.
Were you inspired by this perhaps? - http://online.wsj.com/articles/rosetta-mission-reaches-comet-in-first-for-space-travel-1407322701

Thanks Gilliatt! :)

Yes indeed - it had everything to do with the Rosetta biz. That's one of the most amazing things humans have ever achieved, whether landing securely takes place or not.
