Jennifer Lawrence arrives in Florence
Or, more correctly, she materialises;
Her time machine it needed a clean
"Sticky controls" she too late realises
It is 1691 and the war has begun
Though not any war of renown
A battle for sanity against inanity
As painters and scribes flock around
Candle flashes are causing rashes
Which, added to the red carpet burns,
Make her all itchy and begin to get antsy
So dives back into her clock and turns
The locking gear makes the wheel steer
Back from whence she had come
"Free at last" she is heard to gasp,
By an accidental stowaway, by gum!
"Who are you!" they say as two
The words overlapping out of sync
"I'm you - I mean you're me! I see!
Couldn't be clearer if written in ink!"
"Hello?" says another "Oh no! Oh Brother!"

"I overheard you" says the third new
"You're both transdimensional me I'll bet"
"I mean you no harm, no cause for alarm
We're still ourself but lost in chaos

"We made it in time!" she says to make rhyme
Because reason has flown out the door
Looking for cracks in the space-time fracas
"You're good to go" she says to herself
She waves to each one, then starts to run
Grabbing 'Advanced Physics' from the shelf
"I'd best brush up, lest everything hush up
As a result of the grime in the machine"
But sudden a knock, so the door she unlocks
"Um - it appears we've gone all the way back to the Paleoscene!"
