Hello!

I wanted to take a second and introduce myself. I am an 8th Grade English teacher in north-central Florida. I am also a Masters student at the University of Florida. I am excited to see the forums to not only help with new ideas for my classroom but to help with my Masters thesis as well. I am currently looking into how teachers set up classroom discussion, implementation of the variety of versions of the common core speaking and listening standards, and how different teachers judge effectiveness of their discussions. I would appreciate any help any of you can give, and will be actively searching through the different forums. I hope you all have a wonderful evening! I'm very excited to be a part of this forum!:hurray:

Its a truly noble office you hold, that of a teacher. Its comforting that teachers are increasingly going online & planning industriously in order to impart the necessary stuff effectively to citizens of tomorrow. Welcome :smile5:
